2021 got off to a flyer here at Freelance Entry Solutions, with the team expanding and our product line up growing. We took the time to sit down with Rhys our new installations assistant and repair engineer, and to meet Georgi who joined us and takes care of our marketing efforts. Read on to hear about their journey with us so far and to find out more about some new and exciting products.
Rhys joined us late last year taking on the role of installations assistant and repair engineer and has settled in really well, contributing to the hard work of our fitting team.
What did you like about the company that made you want to join?
I was working in maintenance and repairs for a large hotel in Winchester but I was looking for a change and wanted to try something different that would further my skills and knowledge.
"By coincidence, Freelance Entry Solutions had just replaced a door for my father in law and they stood out as a great company, so I dropped in my CV with the hope there might be an opportunity. I was pleased to be invited for an interview and the rest is history as they say!”
Installations Assistant & Repair Engineer
What are your favourite things about working at Freelance?
“It’s great to be in a job where every day is different - different products, different customers, different places. Also, everyone at Freelance has been so friendly, they’ve welcomed me into the team and I have already learnt so much. I never realised doors can be so complicated!”
What do you like to do outside of work?
“Unfortunately, like many people, COVID and lockdown have put interests on hold, but do I enjoy airsoft and fingers crossed we can maybe get back to it in the summer. I am also just in the process of buying my first home with my fiancé, which is a little stressful but very exciting. I can’t wait to sit and watch my first Man United game in the comforts of our new home.”
A Warm Welcome to Georgi
The Freelance Entry Solutions team has also expanded the office-based team, recently welcoming Georgi who going forwards will take care of our marketing activities including keeping our website up to date with new products and travelling to jobs to capture images of our team hard at work and the completed projects.
“I am really excited to be part of the team and looking forward to getting stuck into the work. This is a completely new job role for me; I come from a background of pensions and admin but loved the idea of a new challenge and learning a new role in marketing and advertising. It’s a varied role, from travelling around taking pictures to adding new products on the website.”

However, our team will be able to inform you of any delays to a project you may have in mind and will be transparent as we look to continue to deliver our services.
Which Items are Affected by the Construction Materials Shortage?
