Freelance Entry Solutions were the chose garage door supplier for a customer located in Shepperton, Surrey which is around fifteen miles from Central London. For this project, our Hörmann Partner Status came in really useful as we supplied and fitted multiple doors on site, which all needed to be up to scratch when it came to the design and quality.
Brief
Mr Urwin was in the process of a major property refurbishment where several doors were needed including;
- 2x garage doors
- 2x aluminium front entrance doors
- 1x garage side door
- 1x side gate
- 1x pair of double doors on a utility/bin store
Amongst a few requirements, the main necessity was for continuity of design, colour, fit, finish and high quality. The preference was for one company to take responsibility for the doors and who would work closely with the building contractor undertaking the renovation.
Solution
We surveyed the openings and discussed Mr Urwin’s needs and preferences to best meet his requirements. In order to maintain continuity, we needed to try sourcing all the doors of one manufacturer and for this project, it turned out to be Hormann. As you can see from the images below, the glass panels in the front doors allow light to flood into the property, while safeguarding the home.
Admittedly, we did have to think outside of the box, especially the side gate that required some planning and bespoke modifications so the M-Ribbed design on the outside was replicated on the inside. The hard work paid off with a colour match across all doors and our in-house installation team made sure the doors fit and finish met the customer’s expectations exactly.
