For this project, due to the width of the garage door opening, the only solution was to fit two HST sliders that meet in the middle.
Brief
A customer who recently contacted us had decided to get a new bespoke garage built on their driveway. The wide opening garage doors were crucial to the design, with a full width opening the priority. This of course meant some considerable garage doors were required to ensure the new garage was secure and protected from the outside elements.
Delivery of a Bespoke Project
For a bespoke solution, the customer turned to Freelance Entry Solutions, given our Hormann Partner Status and familiarity with their high end products. The garage door opening was 6.5 metres wide and a full width opening was a priority for ease of access. The garage door chosen was steel, finished in silk grain smooth in white externally and grey white on the inside.

Our experience in garage door installation and custom products came to the fore as the team sourced two HST sliders which meet in the middle. A full site survey was conducted prior to the job and so the installation team were briefed and prepared to complete the job to satisfy the needs of the customer.
These automated sliding garage doors in a fresh looking white, look the part and finish the custom garage build off nicely. The customer now has a secure and watertight space, where they can manoeuvre vehicles with ease given the vast 6.5m opening. The beauty of these Hormann HST Side sliding garage doors is that they are tucked into the internal side walls, rather than the standard up and over procedure.
The garage was finished off nicely in stunning timber cladding, leaving the homeowner delighted with their completed project.
