Robust concealed hinges
For a clean, presentable look the hinges are concealed, this is also for improved security.
Door dampeners & Door Stays
To prevent the door from blowing shut in high winds and to help it stay open, door stays are attached to the top of the door. For a gentle closing motion gas pistons are used as dampeners.
Door dampeners have been employed for a gentle closing motion useing gas pistons.
Two point locking for security
At the top and bottom of the garage door there is a shoot-bolt latch to secure the fixed leaf. These are easily opened using a centrally located flip-up handle.
Door threshold
A 20mm aluminium threshold is fixed at an angle under the door to prevent air flow, debris, leaves and to help with mild water run-off.
Rubber seals
Weather proof seals are built into the door frame as well as the door stop on the both the fixed and leading door leaf. These rubber seals help prevent drafts and keep the wind and rain outside.
