Handles
The Design range comes with a brushed steel handle as standard, but you can choose from 3 other solid die-cast metal handles or opt for the standard durable black plastic handle.

Steel Frame
The steel box section frame provides a stronger more secure and lower maintenance option compared to timber frames. The galvanised frames are powder-coated in factory for a consistent finish in a colour to either match or contrast with the door subject to your preference.
4-point locking upgrade
Improve security by upgrading from the standard 2-point to the 4-point locking.

Retractable 'Plus' mechanism
The pivot arms on standard retractable door gear reduce drive through width which is why the 'retractable plus' pivot arm has been designed to maintain clear passage where it matters.
Remote Automation
This range is fully compatible for automation so long as the door is correctly specified with the retractable mechanism.

Weather Stop door threshold
This threshold is ideal for closing up the small gap underneath the garage door, prevents water, leaves, dust and debris from getting under the garae door. Made from aluminium it can withstand heavy traffic.

Key Features
Crimped and welded panel construction
Door panels are constructed using a box section chassis that is crimped and welded making for a much stronger and robust panel compared to the process of drilling and riveting.
Adjustable tension
Both the canopy and retractable lifting mechanisms have adjustable springs which ensure the door can be balanced as necessary.
Anti-drop safety (canopy gear)
The canopy mechanism has high quality sprung loaded anti-drop rollers with a metal catch for ultimate safety in the event of a spring or cable failure.
The larger wheels also ensures a smoother and easier opening/closing of the door.
Cast alloy cable drum
The canopy mechanism has cast cable drums with 2.3mm steel wire cables ensuring reliable smooth operational performance for many years.
Anti-drop safety (retractable gear)
Retractable doors use a multi-spring mechanism which mean in the event of a single spring failure the remaining springs provide enough tension to prevent the door falling with force.
