Hörmann UK’s new RollMatic roller garage doors have been developed to specifically address the industry wide problem of scratching associated with roller garage doors.
Hörmann’s solution to this is the DuraBelt system, which consists of a tape-like material which sits between the inner and outer face of the curtain and helps to reduce the risk of marking or scratching due to grit or other foreign objects.
What’s new with the Hörmann roller garage door?
The improved RollMatic garage door features:
- A DuraBelt system which is designed to provide cushioning as the curtain rolls up, to reduce the risk of marking or scratching.
- A reed switch to stop the curtain electronically at the fully open position so there is less lath-on-lath damage from mechanical resistance.
- Material technology to help minimise lath-on-lath contact means the door is quieter when opening and closing.
Hörmann’s electric garage door also uses innovative Hörmann BlueSecur Bluetooth automation technology as standard, recognising the growth within the end consumer market for home automation accessed securely via a Smartphone.
What are my options?
The new Hörmann RollMatic garage door will be available in a variety of sizes and colours so it can be tailored to your requirements. The RollMatic can be used as an internal or external roller door for heights from 1600mm to 3100mm and widths from 1000mm to 6000mm.
The RollMatic garage door is available in a range of colours including Traffic White and 13 other RAL standard colours, as well as Chartwell Green and Noir Sable.
There are also two Decograin decors in Golden Oak and Rosewood which give a real timber look, or an inexpensive alternative, Decopaint, which is used to paint the interior and exterior profiles to look like timber.
These options offer end consumers ample choice when personalising their garage door to match the design and style of their home.
