Freelance Entry Solutions have been working with this customer for many years. For this project we fitted Hörmann Golden Oak automated sectional garage doors & a bespoke RK Door Systems secure aluminium entrance door at this property in Ferndown, Dorset.
The Brief
The customer required garage doors to match high-end Parklex cladding already at the property. In addition to this, the customer wanted an entrance door in Anthracite Grey to match the design and colour of the windows above the door.
Freelance Entry Solutions have been working with the customer, MP Sturgess Building and Brickwork, for many years. The work was similar to work we had previously carried out on other projects for them, so we knew we had the solution.
LPU 42 Automated Sectional Garage Door by Hörmann
As a long-term customer, Freelance Entry Solutions knew that MP Sturgess always have automated sectional doors fitted to their building projects. The customer approached us with the exciting challenge of matching high-end Parklex timber cladding with the garage doors. It was identified early on that the door system that would work best for this project was the Hörmann LPU 42.
The strength from the double-wall insulated steel construction of these garage doors offers many benefits - good thermal efficiency, quieter operation, better sound proofing, and greater resistance to impact or attempted break-ins. This panel strength and rigidity also means the sectional door is available in sizes to suit larger garage openings.
Bespoke Entrance Door by RK Door Systems
We then chose a secure and highly insulated aluminium RK Door Systems front entrance door. The door was finished in Anthracite Grey that seamlessly matched the windows above the door and complimented the property’s style. The key features of this door are the multi-point security locking, impressive u-value, slimline lock escutcheon and high-quality, three-piece roll band hinges.
The Solution
For this project, every detail was carefully considered and every eventuality covered. The planning finally paid off, because although challenging, the garage door installation was successful, with every detail matching up perfectly. The Hörmann automated sectional garage door with a Golden Oak finish, seamlessly matched the Parklex timber cladding, and the bespoke entrance door was fitted to match the design, colour and specifications of the customer.
The customer was suitably impressed with the overall design and look of the final product, and we look forward to working with MP Sturgess again in the future.
